How to Make Raising Cane’s Sauce
It is easy to see why the Raising Cane’s Sauce is so popular. Put simply, is downright delicious and goes great with many dishes! Made with simple standard ingredients, this sauce comes together really easily and actually gets better over time as the flavors blend together! To make this recipe, you will need the key ingredients shared below.
Key Ingredients
- Mayonnaise
- Ketchup
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Cajun or Creole Seasonings
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Coarse Black Pepper

Preparation and Storage
- Mix – in a medium mixing bowl, add all of the sauce ingredients. Whisk well to combine. Taste sauce and season with salt or more creole or cajun seasonings, if needed.
- Serve – sauce can be served right away but get better over time as the flavors develops and blend together. The sauce will also take on a deeper more reddish-orange color.
- Store – transfer sauce into an airtight container like a mason jar and keep refrigerated. Sauce will stay fresh for up to 1 week stored in the fridge.

Raising Cane’s Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon coarse black pepper, may substitute with 1/2 teaspoon fine black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon creole or cajun seasonings, adjust to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- salt, if needed, to taste
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, add all of the sauce ingredients. Whisk to thoroughly combine. Taste the sauce and season with salt, if needed, to preference.
- Sauce can be served right away with your favorite dish but note that it will get better over time as the flavors develops and blend together. It will also take on a deeper more reddish-orange color. (I recommend refrigerating for at least 1-2 hours or overnight before using.)
- To store sauce, transfer into an airtight container like a mason jar and keep refrigerated. Sauce will stay fresh for up to 1 week stored in the fridge.
Notes
- For a more a more developed flavor, I recommend making the sauce in advance and storing in the fridge until ready to serve.
