Pico de Gallo Recipe (Easy & Authentic)

This Pico de Gallo Recipe is a keeper! It is a breeze to make, requiring less than 10 ingredients and is packed with a nice blend of fresh, savory and slightly tangy flavors.

Ingredients

  • 4 Roma tomatoes, deseeded and diced
  • 1/2 large red or white onion, diced
  • 1 large jalapeño pepper, deseeded and diced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
  • juice 1 lime (about 2 tablespoons)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, add all of the ingredients and mix well to combine. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or use in your favorite Mexican or Mexican-inspired dish. Pico de Gallo will last 3-4 days stored in the fridge in an airtight container.
