Creamy Cilantro Lime Sauce Recipe
This Creamy Cilantro Lime Sauce Recipe is simply delicious and has a nice balance of garlicky, herby, tangy and savory flavors that pairs well with a wide variety of dishes!
- 1 bunch of cilantro, stems removed
- 2 large jalapeños, halved and de-seeded
- 4-6 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Juice (1) Lime, about 2 tablespoons
- 2 tablespoons cotija cheese, may substitute with parmesan cheese
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
In a food processor, add the cilantro, garlic, and jalapeño peppers. Blend on high until mixture is finely minced.
Next, add in the mayonnaise, sour cream, cotija cheese, lime juice, salt and black pepper. Blend on high to combine.
Use sauce right away or transfer into an air tight container and store in the fridge. Sauce will stay fresh for up to 1 week stored in the fridge. Enjoy!
