How to Make Homemade Ranch Dressing

This homemade ranch dressing is my go-to recipe to make when I am looking for nicely balanced creamy and tangy addition to my meals. To make this recipe, you would need these key ingredients:

  • Sour Cream: Or you can use Greek yogurt instead to make this ranch dressing recipe slightly healthier.
  • Mayonnaise: Creates a rich and creamy base for the dressing.
  • Buttermilk: To make your own homemade buttermilk mix together 1 cup regular milk and 1 tbsp either white vinegar or lemon juice.
  • Dried Herbs (Dill, Parsley, and Chives): Adjust the amounts of each herb to your personal flavor preference.
  • Garlic Powder and Onion Powder: To get that perfect ranch dressing flavoring.
  • Granulated Sugar: Optional addition to personal taste that adds to the depth of flavor.
  • White Vinegar or Lemon Juice: For a tangy pop of flavor that enhances the sauce.
  • Salt and Pepper: Season with salt and pepper to personal taste.

How to Make Ranch Dressing
